What Is the Veteran Gold Card?
The Gold Card initiative provides eligible post-9/11 era veterans with enhanced intensive services at American Job Centers (also called One-Stop Career Centers). When you present your Gold Card, you receive priority access to employment services, job training, and career counseling for six months.

Gold Card Benefits
With the Gold Card, you get priority of service at American Job Centers, six months of intensive employment services, personalized job counseling and career planning, resume writing assistance, job referrals and placement assistance, and access to training programs including on-the-job training opportunities.
How to Get Your Gold Card
The Gold Card is automatically provided to veterans separating from the military through the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). If you didn't receive one, contact your local American Job Center or visit the CareerOneStop website to learn about eligibility and how to obtain your card.
Maximizing Your Gold Card Benefits
Visit your local American Job Center within the first month of separation to get maximum value from the six-month benefit window. Take advantage of all offered services including training programs, job fairs, and networking events. Combine Gold Card services with GI Bill education benefits for a comprehensive career development plan.
